Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-344 (?)
- SCP-344 is an old, manual can opener that, when used to open a can of food, has a chance to replace the contents with live versions of whatever was originally inside. For example, a can of tuna might release many live tuna, which shoot out with considerable force due to being compressed. The number of live animals released corresponds to how many individual creatures were used to make the canned food. After about 34 hours, any sentient organisms released will undergo a dangerous change and must be terminated before then. It is contained in a high-security locker due to the potential for injury and destruction.
- Golden rivet (?)
- The "golden rivet" is a myth in naval folklore, claiming that the final rivet hammered into a ship is a special, commemorative one made of gold. This idea likely originated from the golden spike used to mark the completion of the U.S. transcontinental railroad. However, such a rivet cannot exist because gold is too soft to be hammered without being destroyed. The myth is often used as a practical joke or hazing ritual on new, junior sailors, who are sent on a fool's errand to search for this non-existent "golden rivet" for the amusement of senior crew members.
